About Us
The Department of Sanskrit, University of Kashmir, Srinagar is one of the oldest department of School of Languages and Literatures, established in 1983 with the sanctioned strength of one Professor and Two Assistant Professors. The Department offers PG Programme in Sanskrit comprising of four semesters through Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) with the current intake capacity of 20+6 having core discipline centric and interdisciplinary courses.
